That kind of makes me think about how natives used to believe that photographs would steal your soul.
It's like no, it locks a memory of that moment that can be recalled with a glance.
Something you can scroll through when you're old and gray and remember all of the good times and probably none of the bad.
The fact you said "scroll through" made me smile. Not "flick" or "look" or "browse".
