Good for the EU! Also, it shows what bastards companies are when they can easily make things consumer-friendly, but only when they're forced. Because the US isn't getting this version.

While not the easiest thing in the world replacing the battery in a North American switch is not very hard, though you do need some specific screw drivers iirc.

I think the hardest part of a NA battery change is the adhesive keeping the battery in place.
