The article doesn't have any more information than the title aside from a bunch of puns. What became of the kitty?
This article is just the jury award. The previous article(linked in this one) on the subject said the kitty is missing.
Here's the relevant quote;
Smith told The Oregonian/OregonLive that Andrade admitted to taking his cat because he wanted it out of the home. A neighbor told Smith he observed the landlord holding Frank by the scruff of his neck and putting him into his car, he said. Smith hasn’t seen Frank since.
That was 2019. So the odds of finding the cat are nil.
Yikes, so by "catnapped" we most likely mean stolen and killed by this guy Devon Andrede.
Edit nope spoke to soon, he got stolen and taken to a shelter, turned out he had a microchip and the shelter gave him back to his original owner who was not the guy in this story.
