Under MMDA Regulation No. 23-002, the increased fines for both public and private vehicles are:

  • First offense – P5,000
  • Second offense – P10,000 plus one-month suspension of driver’s license, and required to undergo a road safety seminar
  • Third offense – P20,000 plus one-year suspension of driver’s license
  • Fourth offense – P30,000 plus recommendation to Land Transportation Office for revocation of driver’s license

Pano kaya to, like if you stayed for 3s, fined ka na agad?

A for instance, we saw some asshole try to cut someone off sa shaw flyover (walang barrier dun nung time na dumaan kame), so the guy had to swerve to the bus lane to avoid the asshole.

No contact policy pa naman sa EDSA, so the guy na umiwas ba would be fined kahit sandaling oras lang sya sa bus lane?

Wala sa article kung may time factor ba or pano sya i-implement.

I guess it's just me but bus lane is just a band-aid solution to the traffic problem
