A conservative radio host, commentator, and Trump supporter called for the shooting of charity workers last week. No, really. He specifically named Catholic Charities, a group of both paid staff and volunteers which (among many other charitable services) helps migrants reunite with their families, access legal aid, and gives support and shelter to unaccompanied migrant children. According to this stable genius, Catholic Charities constitute "enemy combatants" who are "facilitating the invasion and overthrow of our country."
