Silent Donor is happy to announce that we now enable anonymous Monero donations to be sent to any charity or nonprofit worldwide. ๐ŸŽ‰ With offices in the US and Europe, we operate the largest anonymous donation platform in the world, built from the ground-up to protect the privacy of donors.

Now you don't have to wait for a given charity to accept Monero as a donation option - use our platform to send Monero donations to any nonprofit cause you are passionate about, leveraging our global giving network.

Click here to send your anonymous donation today:

๐Ÿš€ There are a lot of discussions on this subreddit around how to get Monero more into mainstream discussions, or ways to help increase its visibility and utility. We think this charitable use case can help provide at least a step in the right direction, while still being true to the privacy focus of Monero.

How it works:

  • The Monero you send goes first to our international charitable fund's wallet. Then, our fund sends the donation to the organization you chose, but it comes as a donation from our fund - your information is kept private and is not shared with anyone. We are happy to send you a donation receipt after we have sent your anonymous donation as well, if you would like.
  • We can send donations in Monero if the org you chose accepts it. If not, we will convert the Monero to fiat and send it that way. We send all donations at the conclusion of every month.

As you likely know, privacy matters:

  • In addition to protecting the privacy of donors who simply wish to lead more private lives (for personal or religious reasons, wealthy donors who wish to avoid public attention, etc), we recognize that the stakes are higher for some donors.
  • Just last month, a young woman was jailed in Russia after it was made know that she donated $51 to a pro-Ukraine charity. Bank accounts of protestors in Canada have been frozen, same with bank accounts in Nigeria after the #EndSARs movement, and many more similar instances have taken place across the world, all targeting donors.
  • Monero can help people feel safe as they donate to causes, unbound by traditional banking systems and free from fears they will be persecuted by those in positions of power as a result. We're happy to play a role in bridging the gap between a Monero donor and charitable impact.

We are around to answer questions and listen to input from this community as well!

Please note that the charity/nonprofit organizations chosen by donors on our donation form will need to pass our due diligence (ie you need to choose a registered nonprofit organization). Also note we do not allow donations to be sent to individual people, nor any political donations.
