Although not very handy for me because I live in the midlands. I didn't want to see it anyway. Nope. Looks like another evening of sitting on social media and regretting my life choices. Sigh.

I was on holiday in Munich for that eclipse. It was badly overcast there too. When the full eclipse hit in it got really dark so everybody was screaming and yelling at the sky in the park we were in so at least it was a bit of an event.

I'm also in the Midlands, so I won't see it either.
I was in Cornwall for the '99 eclipse and I didn't see that one as well so at least I'm keeping up with tradition.

I too am in the Midlands and also went to Cornwall in '99.

We should start a Missed the Eclipse club or something. At least in Cornwall we got to experience the daytime darkness.

True, I was near Lands End, and seeing the shadow emerge over the horizon and rush towards us across the sea was pretty intense.
