These can be included either as stand-alone text files, human-readable headers or in the appropriate machine-readable metadata fields within text or binary files as long as those fields can be easily viewed by the user.

Can we have a few fonts that are unambiguous too. Fonts like Ubuntu have very different characters for Il1| , O0, 5S, Z2 etc. Fonts that might have similar looking characters is a pet peeve of mine. Obviously not as important as adding fonts for accessibility reasons but adding something like Cantarell or Ubuntu or even a good monospace font would really be excellent.
