I'm slowly but surely switching everything I use to FOSS alternatives and after using Gboard for a while thanks to it's good swipe typing, I moved to OpenBoard for the same reason. Unfortunately, the fact that I can't auto-fill my password via 1Password is bugging me (on top of less-than-ideal autocorrect). You guys know any alternatives?

FlorisBoard is FOSS and behaves just like Gboard in regards to password auto-fill

Yap, and if you like the Gboard Material You look, you can try this Florisboard version with dynamic themes also

Oh, that's so cool! Thanks for the recommendation!

I am using OpenBoard with bitwarden, and while it doesn't offer the autofill in the autocomplete section it does work as a dropdown in the input field

Keepass2Android provides both an autofill function and an alternative keyboard. As the name implies, it works with a Keepass file.

KeePass DX also has a virtual keyboard called "Magikeyboard" that will type entries for you. Great UI and a biometric unlock feature, too.

I'm using GBoard on grapheneos with all permissions removed basically. Not quite what you asked for

You can also try AnySoftKeyboard as well, it works fine with Bitwarden. Also, it has many customization options.

I currently use this fork of OpenBoard since its actually getting updates and a ton of fixes. supports glide/swipe typing. Then Bitwarden like someone else mentioned. Pops up in a drop down when you click a username field.

Thanks! I've been using the official OpenBoard for months, and it's good to find a fork that's being updated.

I just wish it were as smart as Gboard at turning its into it's when appropriate.

But look, they put underscore on the F key where it belongs!

Still no emoji search, though. 😥

This widget toolbar is super handy.

Oh, and you can delete learned words you entered by accident, and built-in words, too. That was sorely missing from the official version.
