I almost never look at the app store but I popped in today in the wake of the TikTok ban and was shocked to see this.
I still can't log into the darn android app. Takes me to the pixelfed.social login, then does nothing.
But one day I'll love it, I'm sure.

It seems to be dependent on the browser for login for some reason, which caused problems for me as well.
which Browser works? i tried several.

Well, the problem I had was likely different than yours. The sign-in link was being picked up by Shizuku and opening it in Moshidon, which obviously didn't work. The solution was trying it 2-3x until it was able to be opened in the browser. I also have my browser set to open links in a private window so I had to go and reverse that temporarily and then go back and reverse it again.
