Why yes, I do think everyone has given up. So can you please DO SOMETHING. If Congress can't do anything, who can? SCOTUS can't do anything until someone brings a case before it. Can you please do that? If AOC and/or Bernie won't do it I don't know who will.

The President has the power.

The founding fathers just didn't expect someone to actually do it

They just figured if someone did what he has done the Senate wouldn't placate it and would have thrown him out when impeached. Also they probably figured an angry mob would drag the person into the streets and execute them for doing such. The founding fathers didn't create the secret service, they came about 90 years later or so.

It's not too late to refresh the tree of liberty

Americans seem to have this image of the founding fathers as enlightened beings who came up with a perfect system made to keep working centuries in the future.

They just made what they thought best at the time. They couldn't possibly have predicted what the US and the rest of the world would be like in a hundred years. Times change, and rules must change with them

The president can be impeached. Every Republican, at every level, is actively supporting the Nazis.

The other two branches are supposed to act as a check but they've not only abdicated their responsibility but fallen in line behind the dictator. All of this could have been avoided if they had convicted trump in either the first or second impeachment, which would have prevented him from running again.

Mhmmm, Yarvin, or how he was referred to in right wing circles "Mencius Moldbug" has been a horrible influence on US politics.

Why people think, corrupt rich elected officials, care about what would happen to the US?

If there is the smallest chance of a civil war or someone coming after their money, the can fly to another country with wealth enough for a few generations.

Actually freedom fighters should quickly start organizing a new party that is not compromised so they can fight the establishment. The establishment that created two corrupt parties competing to steal tax payer money.

It's easy to make denouncements. Come back when you have some actionable plan for stopping this bullshit.

There are very few people I feel are on the right side of all this. She is not the enemy. There are no magic bullets. Short of having a majority of elected officials like her, there is only one solution and we all know and fear what it is.
