That's why he loves AI and hate wikipedia. He hates transparency and would be perfectly ok with only the appearance of a grass root movement. He doesn't want to be loved, he just wants to make it seem that way so the average uninformed reader believes it. Then his plan is to essentially Black Mirror Nosedive away the opposition from relevance, soon with a position of power as well as wealth.
