I haven't played it, but I just added it to my wish list. Another you might like, rimworld, but change it's storyteller settings to peaceful.

You can also mod RimWorld a lot too! There is a really popular modpack for medieval playthrough

Sometimes we need a break from the war crimes.
Yeah you can choose multiple different settings for your world. The insanity is fun to read about, but building peacefully is very addicting.
