I think that you might misunderstand. Transgender people are already a very, very small minority. The number of people that are in favor of authoritarian communism is also quite low (certainly in the US, at least). Even if you assume that, say, 50% of all trans people are supportive of authoritarian communism, that's still an incredibly tiny number.
I can't say that I know a ton of transgender people, but the ones that I've personally known have trended well into anarchism, because they recognize the risk of allowing anyone to control their body other than themselves.

Obviously there could. But on Lemmy? That's ridiculous.
They existed before the major migration from reddit, and were born out of very specifically the chapo trap house sub, that was decidedly a safe space for trans folks. They then carried that mentality to hexbear, and have strictly enforced those rules since its start. Why is it so impossible to believe that there is a strong bias towards folks that are gender questioning to end up there, and that their politics align?
I can't even tell of you're joking. Hexbear was created specifically by trans communists from reddit, where else would they be going?
Imho if I can bring some nuance here. I'm also responding to some other comments you made.
I had never seen that poll and to second you I think that 40% of a community is high standard from a statistical point of vue.
With that been said concerning the results I have seen others argue with you over them but I believe the argument is a bit pointless since all of you have valid points.
Assuming that those numbers are correct and follow through the remaining 60%, it does not, however, change the point of my post. Doubting the veracity of a the fact that at least half of an instance is made up of a certain demographic does make you a -insert-phobic. I say this because I am giving the top comment in the screenshot I posted the benefit of the doubt since I can safety assume that he has not seen that poll (neither did I, again). Discussing the accuracy of those results does not question trans people's identity and it is understandable to have doubts when it comes to anything coming out of the heaven of truth that is the Grad.
I am sure that, with some good faith arguments and a bit of time, they would come to accept those numbers.
You must understand that most if not all Hex users do not make any arguments in good faith and will jump on the occasion to bully anyone who might even remotely from 100 light years away question their opinion. They also have a lovely tendency to put words in in others mouth and will manipulate any of your words to serve their own purposes.
Now for the sake of argument and please bear with me again. I am going to not show good faith in this part of my response and behave closer to what a user from tho grad does.

I could continue behaving like this and we could go on and on but I will not. I am also responding to some of the people arguing with you in this response and I want to say to everyone that we need to show more empathy, good faith and try as much as possible to stick to facts.
