Interesting, I feel like Cuba has some thoughts on this being done on Cuban soil, has any one asked the Cuban government about this yet?

They have never supported the existence of guantanamo. Its an illegally occupied piece of land that the US "pays" Cuba like 500$ a month for and Cuba refuses the payments. The US forced Cuba to "rent" it to them after the spanish american war if i remember correctly.

Yes, and because the deal was made with the US puppet Cuba Republic, the deal should have been renegotiated after the revolution, but the US refuses to. They are illegally occupying this territory. Fun fact: you can open it on google maps and none of it is blurred.

I mean the rent is also suposed to be in gold, according to the treaty that Cuba cancled but the US pays in Check that Cuba is not allowed to cash because of the Sanctions the US places on Cuba.
