The way Modi is at it, I'm not holding out much hope for India staying that way.
I am curious, what is that Modi doing ?
Assassinations domestically and foreign, voter intimidation, using the police to suppress dissent, using intelligence agencies to intimidate or frame journalists for crimes using NSO's malware. Putting through legislation to legitimize destruction of democratic institutions and other checks on his power.
I'm barely even scratching the surface. All hidden behind a father-knows-best cult of personality, much like Trump is trying to engender.
