MODERATORS
Probably because OF is independent work, can set your own schedule, never have to interact with a customer IRL and it’s fun if you love sex. Beats working under a shitty manager at a fast food restaurant or in retail dealing with Karens on a daily basis.
And because fuck them. Do what you want not what is "expected".
