Nothing special, just wanted to make a post because I'm extremely proud of myself today. Reddit was the only thing holding me back, and I'm happy to say that I've just deleted my 8 year old account. I'm now only using open source apps for my android and desktop OS and it feels amazing!

I was 100% open source for a while until i needed to buy tickets for the public transport in my area.

Were there no ticket offices?

Yeah but at the time i needed something quick and there was lines. Since then its always been the easier and quicker option. I just to get over that like i did many other things.

Yeah, that is a serious problem. Thankfully, my local transit agency still offers the ability to use a card instead of an app, but you have to request it online to be sent in the mail. It took a month to get mine. Really not ideal.

You can't use cash? In my country its illegal for them not to sell services in cash.
