Wake me when a gaming console is less locked down than NES the 90s.
Well you can already put the Xbox Series S/X in dev mode and install whichever emulator you want such as dolphin
I heard that they were locking people out for doing this recently, though I could be mistaken
Right that was for users who were side loading on the regular retail mode instead of the developer mode:
