What is the best method to sync with android? I've been using the keepass2android app, but this thread got me thinking that this may not be the best method. Thanks for any help!

Also, side questions: Any feedback on KeePass vs. KeePassXC?

I use:

  1. KeePassXC on computer (because it's completely offline and is the safest you can get, IMHO)
  2. KeePassDX on Android
  3. Syncthing on both to keep the .kdbx file synced

There is definitely a learning curve but if you're up for the challenge, it's basically a one-time setup for all of these.

Do you, by any chance, use a yubikey with it?

No, I'm wary of USB devices because a USB device I once had got bricked when I pulled it out too hard and the metal actually disconnected inside the flash drive or something. I try to do as much as I can wirelessly.
