Been thinking about Darling in the Franxx recently, can’t believe that was seven years ago.
What did you like about it? I watched it once and thought it was just okay and focused mainly on a teens discovering they’re horny trope.
I liked the magma energy as a metaphor for fossil fuels.
Good visuals, good music. I really like the world building even if it’s so wonkeyjawed.
The show starts out with a very established order and way of life in order to survive, Neon Genesis-style. Then the children go and make their own society without blackjack or hookers, Gurren Lagann-style.
