Ah, Ford is back to saying the dumbest takes, instead of strangely agreeable things over the last few months.

Nature is healing.

Now we can get back to important municipal bike lanes and fast tracking a massive money pit tunnel instead of improving commuter rail transport.

So fucking annoying. Not that I believed he's reformed or anything, but I low-key hoped maybe something has stuck with him during his Trump heartbreak.

Ehh… If anything, his whole “Canada Is Not For Sale” thing only had me thinking that he’s been really consistent at being a populist. It’s right on brand.

Same

When he's got a clear focus and a big issue he can actually be alright.

When he's got time for all these frivolous make work type projects he's a real asswipe for no discernable reason.

I didn't vote for him but I was hopeful his election face would stick.

So why isn't he focused on the big issues facing Ontario right now like housing, the drug crisis, the cost of living? How does fighting bike lanes help anyone in Ontario?

He's waiting for the federal government to solve it for him. That way he can both get away with not spending much, and having someone to pin the blame on if things go sideways. So right now I think he's waiting for Carney to start these federal initiatives so he can play the partner.

He's never alright because his motivations are corrupt. When he superficially seems to be doing something that aligns with your interests, it's just because he thinks that's the best angle to fuck you.
