Every other president had an increase. Every single one. Not even breaking a record, creating a new one by failing twice.
I dont understand how a president has a 70 or 80% increase in the first 100 days though? Isnt that measuring from when they were elected? How do you get elected with less than 20% approval?
Edit* nvm this was explained in several comments further down. I did read quite a few comments to see if someone addressed this but obviously not far enough
Numbers like this play right into MAGA brains. See, they're the smart ones who approve. It's the ignorant masses who disapprove. Trump could drop to a 20% approval rating, or lower, and that would only cement in their minds that they're on the right side of history.

Im pretty sure Net Approval means percent that approve minus percent that disapprove.
