On Sunday, the #UN agency for Palestinian refugees ( #UNRWA) warned that the humanitarian situation across the #Gaza Strip is beyond imagination, calling on the international community to take serious action to stop this #catastrophe from reaching unseen levels. #Starvation #Genocide #Israel

UN has an app called Share the Meal https://sharethemeal.org/ wher you can easily donate to provide food for several places in the world that are in need. It is safe, transparent (show how your money is spent) and allows you to setup a monthly donation. Any value matters a lot.

I know that the major issue today is the logistic because of the monstrosities that Netanyahu government is perpetrating on Palestine people. But we need to focus in what we can do and do our best.

Currently, UN has the best chance to reach those people so, please, let's spread this as much as possible.

You are joking, right?

Do you know that Israel have blocked any food entry to Gaza in the past 63 days and it is refusing to allow UNRWA or any other UN organization to operate in Gaza.

You can't do shit if the genocidal regime of Israel is blocking the food and bombing food storage facilities again and again.

The only way to solve this is to put pressure on Israel and treat them as a rogue nation they are.

As I said in my comment, I know the logistic problem that Israel is creating for any humanitarian support to reach those people. I also mentioned that my point is: instead of focusing on things that we can't change (like crying on Lemmy), we should focus on what is pragmatic: contribute with resources for those people to receive as much help as possible, as soon as possible. Nothing is easier than have a mobile app where you can directly donate any money that you can.

No, I am not joking. I just prefer to do what I can do, instead of doing nothing or just express my meanless opinion on internet, which will have less than zero positive impact in this situation.

If you choose the political pressure, it is also very helpful. But needs to be expressed through concrete actions in the real world: pressure your representative, protesting in front of government buildings, collaborate with resources to spread the information, etc.
