#Yemen stands alone trying to disrupt Israel's #Genocide in #Gaza

#US, #UK and #Israel are destroying the only county with morality and bravery to disrupt the ongoing genocide by Netanyahu and his genocidal army.

Shame on everyone who is silent.

@timewarp

Who is standing up to Israel?

Who is sanctioning Israel?

Who is boycotting Israel?

Who is holding Israel accountable?

Talk is cheap, voting useless votes in UN is easy, doing something to stop the genocide is what counts.

I think you mistake politicians in America supporting Israel meaning that a majority of the American people support what is happening to Palestinians. That is not accurate. The Israeli lobby has a lot of influence because of money, but their actions has done nothing but erode Israeli support throughout the world. Before the temporary TikTok ban, politicians weren't saying much about China but were more concerned with the overwhelming support Palestine was getting.

If you think the Houthis attacking Israel is going to somehow help or get Israel to stop its campaign, then may peace be upon you. It is however incredibly dumb. Israel is already looking for excuses to attack Yemen & Iran, and once a war breaks out in that region the propaganda machine & military industrial complex will work overtime to make sure they get support to send Americans into that battle. Right now I'd guess a majority of Americans are against what Israel is doing. I'd like to keep it that way so that we can actually put pressure on our politicians to stop supporting Israel.

@timewarp majority of Americans don't give a shit about politics if it doesn't personally affect them.

Those who do, have elected Israeli firsters (GOP and DNC) because, again it's not important for them.

They care more about price of egg than their country bankrolling a genocide

@faab64 @timewarp The majority of U.S citizens are class A citizens of world domination regime. IF they can't elect a pro-Palestinian president it's because this global regime then #Palestinians don't have a time to wait for this majority to act.

@bhyoram @timewarp

No one is asking Americans to elect a pro-palestinian president, all we ask is to elect one that is not pro-genocide.

Is that too much to ask?

@faab64 @timewarp What I mean is that we should not waste our time hoping for inner-change in the U.S Imperialism. Palestine needs to be saved NOW and no faction of Imperialism is going to do that.

Without any support or help from the world, Palestinians will end up like Mauri people of New Zealand, they were almost entirely wiped out by (mostly British) colonialists.

Netanyahu will push Palestinians out of Gaza, EU will make some noise, Arabs make some speeches and Egypt open their borders (for a few of course) to save Palestinians

I have lost hope. This world is just too evil and roo coward to stop the Christian Zionists and Israelis to get what they want.

Neoliberalism has propped up fascism in America. The undercurrents of support for socialist policies and pro-palestinian sentiment have certainly grown a significant amount in recent years, but there is no party to represent these positions in American politics. The Democrats still prioritize capitalism and ignore the populist sentiments throughout America demanding change.

The US Empire needs to collapse. Both from pressure from the outside and from within. That's the only way I see positive change from the US with the current climate. Public opposition within the US is rising, but not enough to cripple the regime. Once commodities skyrocket, perhaps.

Franz Fanon considered that the liberation of the global south will be in tandem with revolution from within the US. This may very well be the beginning of that.

As the US collapses and can no longer support Israel as it has been, that should force Israel and zionism to also collapse. There is much more solidarity for Palestine within the global south, as the main roadblock that is the US wanes, I hope to see material support for Palestine increase
