The foundation of the new policy is that New York state will be able to authorize first responders to forcibly hospitalize mentally ill New Yorkers who cannot meet their own basic needs such as food, shelter or medical care.

The kids went with their mother who was deported for being an illegal immigrant. They weren’t deported. Would you rather they were separated from their mother? You want the 4 year old to stay in America by themself?

Your own link proves my point, not yours - No US citizens have been deported other than young children of illegal immigrants, who go with their parents as they are minors.

Being held for an hour or questioned isn’t “being deported”.

Paywall on second article btw.

Just read it - confirms my previous comment. The only US citizens who have been deported are young dependents who’s illegal immigrant parents are deported.
