I mean, they didn't admit they were wrong. They're saying they were basically "totes bamboozled" by Trump once he was elected, which we know is horseshit because half the country apparently did see this coming (and was quite vocal about it).

At best at this point you could only expect they could at least understand to vote in their own interest and not just to vote as a form of revenge. The post didn't admit she was wrong. She merely said the particular harm she suffered was not what she voted for.

Because they voted for hatred, they just didn't vote for that hatred to target themselves. This is not people realising they were wrong, this is just a "he isn't hurting the right people" moment by an asshole.

This person disregarded the racism, xenophobia, dangerous climate policies and every other negative thing associated with their party of choice. They only "changed their mind" when stupid policies affected their own wallet. This person is the very definition of an "idiot" in the ancient Greek sense of the word and they deserve to have their faces eaten by leopards and to be made fun of.
