I'm watching it and trying to figure out if it's like a parody video or a serious recommendation?

The comments on the video are super weird as well. Can someone please tell me I'm not going crazy and that the majority of the people in the YT comments have been huffing solvents / aren't real?

Also fishing for any good 'best way to clean your drivetrain' videos that are less weird and potentially wrong

In my eyes it seems legit. As far as I understand, the quintessence is that you should not use degreaser when cleaning the drive train, as it removes fat from places where it should not be removed, e.g. in bearings and the joints of the chain, as it is impossible or hard to put new grease (not oil) back there.
