They're human. The best and worst behaviors of human beings are human behaviors, and we can mitigate or exacerbate that. Society needs to look in the mirror and decide whether we want to be the better or worst collective selves. Our politicians reflect back to us our collective choice. It took a long time to get here. If we don't like where we are, we'd better collectively get busy working on ourselves and setting better examples. Then we may put a healthier reflection of ourselves in leadership positions.
