That's what put me off ever watching. Perrin's whole deal was being careful and methodical, given his enormous size and strength. To accidentally hurt someone he loved in the heat of the moment is antithetical to his character.
Yeah you get it, this is why i said only nerds should be allowed to adapt the stuff they like
Also imo it's extra fucked to get rid of Faile, who was cool, to invent a wife just to fridge her for perrin for no reason
Faile does come into the story later, and given they cut out Tear to go to the wastes, maybe she would have shown up in a hypothetical S4.
she did show up in season 3 tho, fine performance too

immediately hated herNow that I think about it, I wonder why I empathised so much with the big strong bearded guy worried about hurting others, who was hopelessly devoted to a confident and beautiful wife who was playfully mean to him.
