You mean part time workers who don't get benefits by design, who depend on social welfare programs despite having a job, and who can't get work anywhere else because Walmart killed all the local businesses?
"Prosperous." Please. If walmart packed up and left you'd be fucked. Especially if they are heavily responsible for your "prosperity." It's a dependent relationship that traps you all in a financial cage. Walmart is a parasite, and we've known this for a long time.
