I'm pretty sure that the second page is depicting the scene before the rape takes part, both natives look displeased because they were forced to be there. And the left one could be a kid.
Idk what's being whitewashed in this metaphorical rape illustration tbh.
People are completely media illiterate and see the "main"character of the picture being happy and thus immediately think it's a celebration of the bad thing
