The Israelis haven't shot them while they were waving white flags, so in that sense it is very different.
The fact that that story even exists and wasn't buried says more about Israels transparency and Hamas tactics in combat, more than relate to this new incident.
Or do you really compare Greta Thunberg with Hamas?
It occurred during a live filming and leaked before the Israelis could squelch it.
This wasn't transparency, it was a PR fuck up by the IDF.
Greta is doing her best. I'm not going to rag on her.
As if that has stopped authorities before. They could just as well have doubled down.
