Yeah the score was fantastic. I liked Black Swan too. I'm normally all in favour of indulgent, artsy cinema — but this one just didn't do it for me
How do you feel about The Fountain? It's one of Aronofsky's most reviled, but I've always loved it for it's indulgent artsiness.
I haven't seen it. I think the only other film of his I've seen is Noah, which was a bit rubbish imo (but I wasn't expecting any better from that one)
EDIT: I just checked and I also saw Pi years and years ago, and thought it was a load of old shit lol. I guess I'm just not an Aronofsky head
