Banned over fish joke
(lemmy.sdf.org)
This is a community in the spirit of "Am I The Asshole" where people can post their own bans from lemmy or reddit or whatever and get some feedback from others whether the ban was justified or not.
Sometimes one just wants to be able to challenge the arguments some mod made and this could be the place for that.
All posts should follow this basic structure:
Expect to receive feedback about your posts, they might even be negative.
Make sure you follow this instance's code of conduct. In other words we won't allow bellyaching about being sanctioned for hate speech or bigotry.
YTPB matrix channel: For real-time discussions about bastards or to appeal mod actions in YPTB itself.
Some acronyms you might see.

I admitted I wrong, I reversed the ban, I explained why it happened. Please stop with the assuming the worst, when I just wanted to have communities where I can post on my liked instances. I dont understand why this fascination of assuming the worst.
Please leave me alone.
gestures vaguely to your moderation practices not just including this incident
You clearly have bias here. "Anything to discredit women and vegans." The DB0 admins have acted against vegans before like banning an user for joking about dog meat satire from posting in a community off-instance. I told you to stop harassing me in only seeing the bad in others and continuing to engage when I told you to STOP. You have no right to be so arrogant as the majority crowd have been wrong before. You're not perfect nor I'm I.
The irony of posting here and even when you've "won" the argument continuing to harass someone is pretty funny.
No? I'm pointing out how shit like this actively damages the entire platform, hiding behind the "wehh ur harassing me" frankly just adds to that.
You think harassment is funny?
I've noticed a trend lately of people lacking reading comprehension. I don't know if it's a generational thing, or just further proof that we're all getting dumber.
Maybe it has something to do with the dunning kruger effect.
You can reply with just the word "disengage" in our instance and the other person has to disengage or gets moderated.
