I didn't know it's actually called Thomas the Tank Engine. I thought it's a joke, since a train isn't what I imagine these days when hearing it...

A "tank engine" is a steam engine - an old fashioned train.

A "Showerthought" is a simple term used to describe the thoughts that pop into your head while you're doing everyday things like taking a shower, driving, or just daydreaming. A showerthought should offer a unique perspective on an ordinary part of life.
