A gaming community free from the hype and oversaturation of current releases, catering to gamers who wait at least 12 months after release to play a game. Whether it's price, waiting for bugs/issues to be patched, DLC to be released, don't meet the system requirements, or just haven't had the time to keep up with the latest releases.

I played 1 when it released and 2 a few years ago. I thought the storyline was great, really long, many characters, very pleasant playthrough. I own 3 but never played it, anyone has an opinion about it ? I've heard better things about brotherhood and revelations but honestly I felt 2 was enough time spent in Italy
3 is kinda meh, it doesn't have a super compelling story or main character.
Brotherhood and Revelations are continuations of 2s storyline, if you didn't know that already.
I'd recommend finding a copy of Assassin's Creed 4. It's probably the best of the entire series; in gameplay, setting, and story.
4 is the one on pirate ships ? I've always wondered if it didn't lack intricate city parkour, which is what I dug most in the first two. I'll try it, cheers
Oddly, 4 does have a few cities in addition to the nautical stuff. They aren't big name cities, but Havana, Kingston and Nassau of that period. Kind of interesting, especially right when Pirates of the Caribbean was popular.
