I’m not 100% how this all works. I use the Voyager app on iOS with Lemm.ee. Do I need to switch apps as well as make a new account?
Not at all. To create an account on a new instance with voyager:
It will let you create a new account on any server you wish and use it with voyager.
For example, I’m on the lemmy.blahaj.zone instance, and I am communicating to you with voyager. But I also sometimes communicate with my alt @FundMECFS@lemmy.dbzer0.com and I access that from voyager too.
