ICE isn't alerting local law enforcement of what's happening. They get a call about a masked gunman and they'll show up.

From what I've seen (admittedly completely online anecdotes), the ICE agents flee before the local pd show up because theyre cowards

You don't have to be the one being targeted to act against them. If I see gestapo going after someone, I'll make the call even though I don't fit the profile of who they're targeting today.
