The difference is the US isn't materially supporting Palestine. If the US is backing a regime they are always bad news, no exceptions.
The US has supplied Palestine with over five billion dollars since 1994 though.

You posted a link to a wikipedia page, wikipedia is not a source, wikipedia articles routinely contain cited sources that are outdated, dead links, or are verifiably incorrect. Post links to actual sources so that I and others can evaluate them, or admit you have nothing and tuck tail.

Every link in this article either leads to another Times of Israel article, a 404 error, or an unsourced infographic PDF.
