Serous fluid, also known as serous exudate, is a thin, watery, and typically clear or pale yellow fluid that drains from wounds or body cavities. It's a normal part of the inflammatory phase of wound healing and is composed primarily of serum from blood plasma. While usually odorless, it can sometimes have a pale yellowish hue.
