The ex has to also be on platform, and is a web of trust kind of algorithm. If the people you recommend violate the rules then if ducks points from you. If you get below a certain point, you and all the people you recommended are banned. If you want to open another account to keep your fake ex business going, you are going to have to get more people to vouch for you again
