My modern philips model just has a little barrel plug for charging in the bottom of the handle so you could totally use it corded which I really appreciate
But I also appreciate having a battery since I use my for trimming body hair in the shower- I really don't get facial hair
So if the battery dies in mine I'll probably be modding it to have an extra long cable or something lol ๐
