I certainly believe them. I have been banned on reddit for some of the mildest shit. If you call out lying scumbag right wingers you will be banned on any corporate social media. If you lie and spread right wing hatred, you will be left alone as long as you stop short of breaking specific rules.

I rarely see right wing nonsense outside of twitter and substack. Everywhere else it's just "leftists" (actually FEDS trying to set the tune in a violent key for people left-of-center) inciting violence on "nazis".

Doesn't sound like you've used Facebook in the past ten years or reddit in the past couple. I quit Facebook five years ago and it was a cesspool by then. Reddit is fucking awful now too, I recently saw after the Charlie Kirk killing. I won't be going back.
