Well, uhm... You should not be overwhelmed by what the future might hold, but just focus on getting through today. It's easy to mock sayings if you're too stupid to understand them.
Right? Pull the horizon closer if the outlook is too much. Can't plan the project for the foreseeable future? Reduce the foreseeable future, get through the next important things and then try again.
As Anna in Frozen 2 puts it: Do the next right thing.
