(Yes, this concept of "control everything through an AI" is just a command line, but worse. But that's not how the investors see it!)
Unfortunately that is true, if you had to pick between swallowing the windows or macos pill and can't install linux on them, macos would probably work out more
Put in that situation by a workplace or other tightly controlled institutional setting, I'd probably moan, but mutter "at least it's Unix" and give it a fair shot.
