And backdoors are definitely a top-priority issue in consumer electronics today. If your experience tells you the open source community is less vulnerable to backdoors or something, reconsider that.

Do you think backdoors are the only threat? or the biggest?? in both cases, you'd be wrong. That's the whole point in this exchange of opinions.
