When you are unable to obtain a "free" copy of something, do y'all just give in and pay for the thing? Or just give up on having the thing altogether? (sh.itjust.works)

Uh so other people can discover your work which therefor, should be an inspiration for you as an artist, to keep going? Duh. Would you have rather it be lost to the sands of time and nobody to know you and what you done so you can be a nobody?

I mean in the past when torrenting was new and very white hot, some artists actually torrented their works and got discovered that way. It was a badge of honor.
