This month I saw an article in my local newspaper that my city's Repair Cafe (a volunteer run workshop where they will repair your electronics and stuff) is now telling people to bring in their old PCs and laptops if they are unable/unwilling to run Windows 11. They will then install Linux Mint for them.

That's the kind of initiative I love to see.
