MODERATORS
The oldest I can go reliably is the late 80’s and early 90’s.
DuckTales NES, Sonic the Hedgehog Genesis, Puzzle Bobble.
Once we start getting into the mid 90*s games start to get good.
Chrono Trigger, Doom, Rayman, DK Country
If I had a nickel for every time I started chrono trigger with the intent to finish it, I would have a bunch of nickels. I think the farthest I've ever gotten was the future apocalypse era. Love the music in the game.
That’s not even past the prologue
Ya I found out early in life that I'm a bigger fan of the idea of JRPGs more than actually playing them
... But the new game+ is the best part. You should get a save state that lets you play new game+ just so that you can finish a playthrough
But that feels dirty
100% respect that decision. I wouldn't do it my own self but I do want you to fully appreciate that game in your lifetime.

That's the most support I've gotten in at least 15 years lol. In the back of my mind I still feel like I want to finish it someday because what I've played of it is really good. One day, one day
